Patient Care Coordinator Position

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring scheduling efficiency and patient satisfaction.

  • Manage patient records accurately and confidentially, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Facilitate timely and accurate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including maintaining office supplies, managing correspondence, and organizing meetings.
  • Assist with insurance verification, authorization processes, and billing inquiries as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and continuity of services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or patient coordination role is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in patient care.
